National Mall Memorials

  • 9:00 a.m. — Depart the Cosmos Club
  • 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. — Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Korean War Veterans Memorial, World War II Memorial, and White House photo stop, subject to current security access
  • 12:00 p.m. — Lunch with your guide
  • 1:00-2:45 p.m. — Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial and Jefferson Memorial
  • 3:00 p.m. — Return to the Cosmos Club

Tuesday, October 13

Arlington, Pentagon 9/11 Memorial, and Iwo Jima

  • 9:00 a.m. — Depart the Cosmos Club
  • 9:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. — Arlington National Cemetery tram tour with your guide, including the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Kennedy gravesite
  • 12:00 p.m. — Lunch with your guide
  • 1:00-1:45 p.m. — Pentagon 9/11 Memorial, pending approved coach drop-off access
  • 1:45-2:35 p.m. — Marine Corps War Memorial / Iwo Jima
  • 3:00 p.m. — Return to the Cosmos Club

Wednesday, October 14

United States Holocaust Memorial Museum

  • 10:00 a.m. — Meet your tour guide inside the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum
  • 10:30-10:45 a.m. — Timed entry for the Permanent Exhibition
  • After entry — Museum visit
  • Please allow at least 15 minutes to go through security before meeting your guide.

Thursday, October 15

Capitol Hill

  • 9:00 a.m. — Depart the Cosmos Club
  • 9:30-10:00 a.m. — Arrive at the Capitol Visitor Center and go through security
  • 10:00-10:25 a.m. — Capitol Visitor Center exhibits
  • 10:25 a.m. — Gather near the meeting location on the Lower Level beside the Statue of Freedom
  • 10:30-11:30 a.m. — Capitol tour
  • 11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m. — Lunch with your guide
  • 1:00-2:00 p.m. — Library of Congress / Thomas Jefferson Building
  • 2:00-2:45 p.m. — Supreme Court visit
  • 3:00 p.m. — Return to the Cosmos Club

Friday, October 16

Lincoln Day

  • 8:40 a.m. — Depart the Cosmos Club
  • 9:00-10:30 a.m. — Ford's Theatre, Petersen House, and museum
  • 11:00 a.m.-12:15 p.m. — Lunch with your guide
  • 12:15-12:45 p.m. — Transfer to President Lincoln's Cottage
  • 12:45 p.m. — Arrive and check in at President Lincoln's Cottage
  • 1:00-2:15 p.m. — Private tour of President Lincoln's Cottage
  • 2:40 p.m. — Return to the Cosmos Club
Before you head out

What to bring

  • Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather.
  • Bring a compact umbrella or rain jacket. Arlington National Cemetery and outdoor memorial touring may have limited shelter.
  • For the Capitol visit, please keep bags small and do not bring food or beverages into the building.
  • Weapons, sharp objects, sprays or aerosols, and oversized bags are not permitted at the Capitol Visitor Center.
